Nactus magistrum Socratem cum
Nubibus, Vanam sophisticam aggreditur uir senex, Battologiis sua
soluturus debita. Exin, ubi nihil proficit, adducit filium. Is iam
sophista factus, edit specimina, Sed uerberatus ab hoc pater euertit scholam.
N’ayant plus de recours, trouvant
maître Socrate au milieu des Nuées, Un vieillard entreprend de se faire
enseigner la vaine sophistique, Espérant acquitter par un vain bavardage une
dette importante. Et ne progressant pas, il y mande son fils qui, devenu
sophiste, Sort beaucoup d’arguments mais frappe son papa qui, lors, détruit
l’école.
