Argument acrostiche

Reducere optans ad superos uatem bonum, Adit inferos Bacchus ; ranae stygis accinunt, Nemore sed Elysio certat cum Euripide Æschylus : eoque uicto mox reducitur.

Rêvant de ramener un bon auteur tragique au monde des humains, Aux Enfers Bacchus va ; les grenouilles du Styx coassent sur sa route. Néanmoins Euripide aux bois élyséens trouve comme rival Æschyle qui le vainc et remonte à sa place au monde des vivants.
